i use a very thin layer of Vaseline on my eyelids as a primer. Works perfect and eye shadow is flawless all day long. No creases and it never looks oily.
Less is more. It is good to accent your appearance but heavy makeup and liner can make you look clownlike. Use colors that match your complexion and enhance your eyes. Bronzer in a 3 on either side of your face can make you look like you have subtle color if you are pale
Always use a shadow primer to hold your eye makeup in place.
