Spry wins Whole Foods Natural Choice for dental care and giveaway

Much of our good health stems from proper dental and oral care. Albeit we loathe a visit to the dentist, we would struggle more with an unhealthy mouth and smile. Part of overall health in our home is seeking out products that are better for you and the environment. Luckily my dentist has great taste in products when they referred us to Spry some years ago.

You might be familiar with Xlear Inc. as they started off in natural care in 2000 with their line of saline nasal spray, Xlear Sinus Care Nasal Spray. We have used this almost exclusively in our home for treating sniffles, sneezes, itchy noses and inflammation when cold and flu season flare up.

Xlear Inc., leading manufacturer of natural, health-promoting xylitol products, is proud to announce that its Spry Toothpaste this year’s 2015 Whole Foods Natural Choice Awards recipient in the “Personal Care” category. For the 13th annual award recognition, winners were chosen by Whole Foods Magazine readers and voted on in 18 categories. Spry Toothpaste was awarded first place for “Personal Care” in the Health and Beauty Aids category.

spry, natural toothpaste, natural oral care, natural dental care, sugar free toothpaste, non-gmoXlear and Spry are more than just toothpaste and nasal spray. They have an entire line of chewing gum, mints, oral rinses, tooth gels, floss and moisturizing mouth spray, all exclusively sweetened with xylitol. What I loved about Spry toothpaste is that the taste is not too harsh and not too sweet. My kids LOATHE brushing their teeth with traditional toothpaste because it is too harsh and I despise the “kids” toothpaste because it is too sweet. We found a healthy balance of great taste and effective oral care with the Spry brand and line of toothpastes.

Spry toothpastes are approved for cavity prevention, sourced from Non-GMO sources and is sugar free. Spry comes in four different varieties, with cinnamon with fluoride being my absolute favorite! The others are fluoride free cinnamon, fluoride free peppermint and spearmint with fluoride. Spry is tough enough to handle your oral care, but gentle for even the most sensitive of dental and oral care needs as they are produced with aloe that helps soothe sensitivities and irritations.

Don’t just take my word for it, you can enter to win two packages of Spry here on the blog. In the event you cannot wait to try it out yourself, you can find Spry at local retailers like Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe, CVS Pharmacy or at online retailers like Amazon or direct from Xlear.

  1. I dislike how some toothpastes have become so chemically tasting. I want my mouth to feel fresh after brushing, not like I need to rinse the taste out of my mouth.

  2. What annoys me most about toothpaste is that I’m not quite sure what those ingredients are and what they might be doing to me.

  3. There’s one brand that makes my mouth feel like it’s peeling/filmy inside. I really hate that but I can never remember if it’s Crest or Colgate. I must be allergic or something.

  4. I used a “whitening” toothpaste and used it for about 1 week. It gave me blisters in my mouth! Very painful! AND it didn’t whiten my teeth!

  5. I don’t like the artificial ingredients that are in most toothpastes. Would love to try the Spry with fluoride in Cinnamon!

  6. What annoys me the most about toothpaste all the chemicals in it. My favorite toothpaste/flavor is Aquafresh.
